Lovely brushed look, they are 3in/7cm long and heavy duty! Not your average flimsy paperclip. May tear a single sheet of lighter weight paper and be a little work to open it up if you want to clip a larger stack of paper or cardstock etc. Only negative is as shown in the picture, the thumb lifts at an angle, preventing it from lying flat (though this could be beneficial in other situations!)

I used it on my planner and I guess some of the paint left some marks on the pages after I removed the clips.
